Bready & District Ulster Scots Development Association

Bready & District Ulster Scots Development Association and supporting organisations within the Sollus Centre continues to develop Ulster Scots cultural activity in Bready and throughout the North West region and beyond. We wanted to play a supporting role in the community during these difficult time of COVID 19. By using our resources within the building, and our volunteers we are able to produce over 5000 masks to front line staff and community volunteers! Its great to see that this has been recognised by the Secretary of State Brandon Lewis.

We also continue to provide both Highland Dance and Pipe tuition to many young people online. Georgina continues to teach around 150 young people each week, and this video gives a wee Lockdown Update from Sollus Highland Dancers in Bready, where the world of Ulster-Scots is as busy as ever, despite the pandemic.
