RCN and React complete work with their History Group.

RCN in partnership with REACT and Northern Springs delivered a six week community relations programme called Rebels Radicals Royalists and Loyalists in the Banbridge and surrounding rural areas.

This programme focused on the theme of shared history and involved 6 sessions exploring Ireland pre 1922. The programme also consisted of a site visit to Belfast taking in the World War One exhibition at the Ulster Museum; St Anne’s Cathedral and also the Somme Heritage Centre.

Participants also engaged in an overnight residential to Dublin taking in Collins Barracks, Arbour Hill, Grange Gorman Cemetery and Glasnevin cemetery. It was a very worthwhile programme with excellent feedback from every participant who has ever taken part in this course.
