Troubled Art project with National Museums NI

Many thanks to Donal McAnallen, who was employed by National Museums NI for delivering an excellent arts and heritage based programme in Mid Ulster.

People from all walks of life and all communities engaged in this initiative whereby they undertook a range of site visits as well as engaging in painting and creative arts. They visited the Ulster Museum to see the Troubled Arts exhibition as well as the Seamus Heaney Centre in Bellaghy.

Luckily for us, once the project was over, the art work developed by the rural participants was put on display in the Ulster Museum for a week.
