Brexit NI event
DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED
Wednesday 9th May 2018 at RCN
10am to 12.00 noon
RCN in conjunction with Brexit Law NI would like to invite you to an event which will examine the constitutional, conflict transformation, human rights and equality consequences of Brexit.
This is a collaborative ESRC funded research project between the Law Schools of Queen’s University, Belfast and Ulster University and the region’s leading human rights organization and the Committee of the Administration of Justice (CAJ).
Many complex questions are arising, with significant legal and constitutional consequences that demand considered reflection. The event will particularly focus on:
• The Northern Ireland peace process
• North-South relations
• Border controls and free movement in and between NI, the Republic of Ireland and Britain
• Xenophobia and racism in NI
• The impact on socio-economic rights
• Wider human rights and equality issues
Brexit Law NI wants to hear rural voices so please register with Teresa at RCN.
