Are you looking for an opportunity to use your skills and experience to place the arts at the heart of our social, economic and creative lives? If so, applications are now invited for the appointment of up to 5 Members to the Arts Council NI Board, providing individuals an excellent opportunity to make a significant contribution to its leadership and oversight.

The Arts Council is the lead development agency for the arts in Northern Ireland. It has a key role to play in developing and improving the knowledge, appreciation and practice of the arts, and increasing public access to, and participation in, the arts.

Applications are welcome from across the community, voluntary, business or public sectors particularly from women, people with a disability, people from minority ethnic groups and young people. A Guaranteed Interview Scheme is in place for those applicants with a disability. You do not need to have previous experience of serving on a board to apply.

Further details on the positions including responsibilities and selection criteria are currently available on the NI Direct & Department for Communities websites - or  appointment-vacancies.
