BCPP programme Level 2 funding

CDHN is pleased to announce that BCPP programme Level 2 funding has been increased to £12,000!

Kathy Martin, Strategic Impact Manager, said ‘We are pleased to announce this increase of Level 2 funding from £10,000 to £12,000 which will benefit both partners in any future projects – the community organisation and the Pharmacist. All other aspects of the grants process remain the same with no additional responsibilities for the partners.’
Kathy continued ‘We encourage all community groups and Pharmacists who haven’t  applied for some time or have never applied at all to have a look at the comprehensive guidance notes and project examples on the website. We have a very supportive team in place who are there to talk through any ideas you may have for a project and work with you throughout the process.’
Nuala Barr, Development Officer, Voices Women’s Group has been involved in BCPP for many years and we think her quote below really sums up the ethos of the programme. Nuala said ‘The BCPP programmes have had a hugely positive impact on relationships between local residents and our Pharmacy and we continue to grow this relationship further. The project participants are now using the minor ailments scheme effectively and consider their local Pharmacist as the first port of call when they, or family members, experience health issues. The programme has been a very positive experience for both me and the group, giving the women the opportunity to discuss some sensitive subjects in a safe and supportive setting.’
